Chairman, FUJCON Steering Committee

H.E. Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al Kindi had a distinguished career in Government of the United Arab Emirates as a Diplomat. Starting as Second Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abu Dhabi in 1984, Dr Al Kindi was transferred to the United Nations, New York serving as U.A.E mission from 1986-1995. He represented U.A.E. at the United Nations Security Council from 1986-1987 and the U.N. General Assembly during his post. He was appointed Charge d’Affairs of the U.A.E. Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia from 1995-1997. Dr. Al Kindi has served as Director of Ruler’s Office, Government of Fujairah, U.A.E. from 1997-2006. He also served in the United Arab Emirates Federal Government’s Cabinet as a Minister for Environment & Water.

Mohammed Majed Bin Al Aleeli is Director General of Department of Industry & Economy for the Government of Fujairah. Mr Majed is a member of the Board Fujairah National Bank and Arab Company for Poultry Production. Also, member of Federal Committee for Assortment and Economic Cooperation at the Ministry of Economy as well as Emergency and Natural Disaster.

Capt. Mousa Morad is Managing Director at the Port of Fujairah. He is a Master Mariner, with more than 41 years’ experience in marine related activities and management. During his tenure the Port of Fujairah, capitalizing on its strategic position outside the Straits of Hormuz, has undergone significant development both in berths and facilities and the range of its commercial activity. Capt. Mousa is also a Development Committee Member of Fujairah Oil Industry Zone (FOIZ), which oversees Tank Storage Development in the Emirate, and is chaired by His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, a Member of the Supreme Council of the U.A.E., and Ruler of Fujairah.

Capt Salem Al Hamoudi is the Director for Fujairah Oil Industry Zone (FOIZ), a position held since 2018. He has been working in oil and gas shipping and trade since 2000. Capt Salem joined Port of Fujairah in 2012 as a management member of Fujairah Oil Tanker Terminals. Prior to that, he worked at National Gas Shipping Company at the division of fleet operations of Gas tankers, part of ADNOC group; as well as in TOTAL looking after the management of offshore logistics.

Martijn Heijboer is Senior Manager, Strategy Transformation & Business Development for the Port of Fujairah Authority, whom he joined in 2019. He started his career in the Netherlands, with one of North America’s largest industrial suppliers, Fastenal, to support its fast expansion program in Europe.  In 2010, Martijn decided to pursue his career in Jakarta, Indonesia and respectively worked as a consultant for McKinsey at NOC, Pertamina, and held various commercial & management positions with Royal Vopak.

Dave Ernsberger is co-President of S&P Global Commodity Insights and a member of S&P Global's Executive Leadership Team. Most Recently, Mr. Ernsberger was Head of Market Reporting and Trading Solutions at S&P Global Commodity Insights. In that role, he was responsible for managing Platts commodity price benchmark worldwide, including market reporting, news coverage and exchange relationships, from well-established markets like oil and gas through to emerging market environments like new Energy Transition commodities and recycled materials. Prior to that, Mr. Ernsberger served in a variety roles at Platts, include Head of Oil Content; Editorial Director for Asia (based in Singapore), and Houston Bureau Chief. He joined Platts in 1996 as a metals reporter in London, launched coverage of Europe's then-deregulating gas and electricity markets in 1999.

Lyn Tattum is Vice President, Head of Events, Training, and Media, at S&P Global Commodity Insights and Publisher of Chemical Week. Lyn’s early career was as a journalist, publisher, writer, and interviewer in the global chemical Industry. She is well known within the international chemical and plastics industry, interviewing CEOs, chairing conferences and roundtables, and regularly attending global industry events, where she has pioneered discussions on Sustainability, ESG and Diversity.

Owner, 2050 Marine Energy

Adrian Tolson is the owner of 2050 Marine Energy and is widely recognized as one of the shipping’s leading marine energy experts. With almost 40 years of industry experience, he has both detailed knowledge and unique insight into the marine fuel supply chain and its many related infrastructure developments. 2050 Marine Energy was formed in late 2022 to provide commercial insight to all stakeholders in the marine fuel supply chain navigating the disruption of this decade and future transformation. Adrian has led numerous global business development projects across the marine energy sector. This includes assisting ship owners and physical suppliers on future fuel procurement and supply strategies; the development of bunkering infrastructure projects for existing and alternative fuels; as well as working with the financial and investment community on the opportunities in the future marine energy landscape. Adrian’s experience spans leadership roles with some of the industry’s largest marine fuel suppliers, including Chemoil Energy, where he was responsible for successfully driving the company through to IPO; and as Vice President and General Manager of OW Bunker where he established its physical supply operation in the USA. Elected to the board of the International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) in 2020, Adrian is currently its Vice-Chairman and Chairman of the IBIA’s Americas Regional Board.

DheerajDheeraj Sharma,
Vice President, Marine & Offshore Business Development-Middle East & Africa, ABS

Captain Dheeraj Sharma is the ABS Vice President of Marine & Offshore Regional Business Development for Middle East and Africa, based in Dubai. Dheeraj joined ABS in early 2022. Prior to ABS, Dheeraj spent almost a decade at the United Arab Chemical Carriers (UACC) as their General Manager/Owners Representative at their head office in Dubai overseeing the daily running of the 26 tankers and office teams in Singapore, Mumbai & Hong Kong. Before coming ashore, he sailed for 17 years with NOL Singapore, Kuwait Oil Tankers (KOTC) and World-Wide Shipping as Master on Shell & BP-chartered vessels. Having worked for shipowners, managers and oil majors in marine operations, safety, commercial and new building departments, Dheeraj brings a wealth of commercial shipping experience and an owner's perspective with him.

ADNOCMohamed Al-Ali,
Senior Vice President, Offshore Logistics, ADNOC Logistics & Services

Captain Mohamed Al Ali is the Senior Vice President, Operations (Offshore Logistics) at ADNOC Logistics and Services (L&S). In his current role at ADNOC L&S, he oversees the commercial logistics and operational activities of the ports, offshore supply and support fleet to provide end to end Offshore Logistics Solution to the customers including Warehousing, Material Handling, Port and Offshore Supply Operations. He has over 27 years of successful experience in oil and gas and shipping. He started his career as a deck cadet with National Gas Shipping Company Ltd (NGSCO), a wholly-owned subsidiary of ADNOC in 1996, and rose to become the first UAE National Master on an LNG carrier in 2008. Captain Al Ali was the Senior Vice President Ship Management at ADNOC Logistics and Services (L&S) since 2013. In his previous role at ADNOC L&S, he was overseeing the operations of ADNOC L&S’ shipping fleet, including LNG and LPG carriers and oil tankers as well as chemical, Sulphur and dry bulk carriers and containers. He spearheaded a number of joint energy efficiency and optimization projects.

PerPer Funch-Nielsen,
Director, AuctionConnect

Per Funch-Nielsen is CEO at AuctionConnect, leading the development and promotion of an innovative online bunker procurement. Before joining AuctionConnect, Per served as Sales Director at OceanConnect Marine, a subsidiary of Glencore. In this role, he was responsible for promoting AuctionConnect and heading business development projects. His efforts were pivotal in preparing clients for the IMO 2020 regulations, which mandated a global reduction in sulfur content for marine fuels. Per's guidance assisted a wide range of stakeholders, including ship owners, operators, suppliers, and governments, in navigating the complexities of these new environmental standards. ​ Per is a seasoned professional in the marine energy sector and a key figure in the industry’s ongoing digital transformation, bringing over 30 years of experience. His commitment to innovation and efficiency continues to drive advancements in bunker procurement and fuel management, contributing significantly to the maritime industry's adaptation to evolving environmental and technological landscapes.

CarlCarl Lindahl,
Maritime Contracts Manager, BIMCO

Carl Lindahl is a Maritime Contract Manager at BIMCO and has participated in the development of clauses for various initiatives, including CII, EU ETS, and FuelEU Maritime. He has also been part of the subcommittee that developed the BIMCO LNG Annex and is currently involved in the BIMCO Methanol Annex to BIMCO Bunker Terms 2018.

Colin Holloway’s career in the oil and maritime industry spans more than 30 years during which he has gained extensive knowledge of a broad range of technical, commercial, and operational activities throughout the Middle East and Africa region. This includes being appointed the Chairman of the IBIA Middle East Board. As Global Head - Technical at Cockett Group, Colin is responsible for all technical aspects of marine fuel, reselling, petroleum products and services worldwide, while being in charge of the Group’s technical strategy and approach. This includes the implementation of new systems, training, tools, policies, procedures and monitoring and maintaining Cockett Group’s ISO 9001 accreditation.

Khamis Juma Buamim is a board member of Gulf Craft Inc and Asia Think Tank Group for future maritime transformation and the Global advisor for the MareForum, formerly he was Board Member and MD and Group CEO of Gulf Navigation Holding PJSC and Board Member of Drake and Scull International PJSC. H.E. Khamis Juma Buamim is the Chairman of the Dubai Council for Marine and Maritime Industries, the specialized industry council formed to promote the interests of the offshore and maritime industry in Dubai and the UAE. He is Honorary Advisor to Hong Kong Asian Logistics, Maritime and Aviation Conference (ALMAC) and also Chairman of Arab Association for Petroleum Professionals (AAPP), for the professionals in the oil and gas industry in the Middle East and the world to connect, network and collaborate to tackle major challenges facing the industry. In addition, he is the former Chairman of the Federal Committee for the Revision and Update of the UAE Maritime Law, the committee was created to review and update the UAE Commercial Maritime Law and formulate a new & futuristic law that will propel and govern the ongoing potential growth of business and the maritime industry in the UAE and the region. H.E. Khamis Juma Buamim is the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Drydocks world and Maritime world and Chairman of the Board of DDW-PaxOcean Asia PTE Singapore and has successfully led the organization through its restructuring during the global financial crisis. His leadership and direction have been instrumental in the company being able to acquire several pioneering projects on a global scale. This leadership has seen the company move from close to financial failure, create major synergies, recognize potential and place the organization firmly on a path driven to sustainable profitability and growth. H.E. During her career at S&P Global, Annette has been active in People Resource Groups (PRGs) including serving as an ACP mentor to military members and their families through VALOR; serving as the Houston office Pride board advisor and as the original founder of Women’s Initiative for Networking and Success (WINS) Texas Chapter. Anna Galtsova, senior research director with the Gas, Power and Renewables group at S&P Commodity Insights, focuses on the analysis of broad trends in gas supply, demand , export, import as well as project economics in Europe and Eurasia. Ms. Galtsova has participated in a number of long-term planning projects for the strategy departments of multiple IOCs as well as the ministries of energy and the ministries of finance. She is the author of numerous strategic publications on European and Eurasian gas industry fundamentals analysis and long-term forecasting, including supply, demand, exports (pipeline, LNG), and regulation. Ms. Galtsova regularly speaks at S&P Energy Briefings as well as CERAWeek. She is also regularly invited as a speaker at key industry events in Europe, Eurasia and Asia. Prior to joining IHS Markit, Ms. Galtsova was an equity analyst at Russian investment bank Renaissance Capital, where she covered the oil sector in Central Asia. She also worked at the Russian consulting company ERTA Analytical Group, where she conducted in-depth analysis of the Russian gas market, including asset valuation, supply/demand forecast modeling, pricing outlooks, transportation issues, and market rules and regulation. Anuj Garg has 15 years of professional experience in the fields of shipping and commodity research, corporate investment strategies, equity research, finance, and treasury functions.  He is currently working as Associate Director, Principal Shipping Research Analyst at S&P Global, based out of Dubai. He is part of the freight rate forecasting (FRF) team, responsible for providing earnings forecast across vessel categories.  Focused on analyzing demand supply trends of the shipping industry. Emphasis on estimating shipping tonnage demand & fleet supply growth. Analyzing impact of Geo – political events on the freight market. Group rate

Your organization may send 1 person for free for every 3 people registered at the current delegate rate. All registrations must be from the same organization and made at the same time to qualify. The group rate is not retroactive. 

How to obtain a letter of invitation to apply for a travel visa

We can provide you with a letter of invitation to apply for a travel visa, which you should then send to the appropriate consulate or embassy of the event location. Please note:

  • — Your registration fee must be paid in full before a letter of invitation can be issued. There are no exceptions.
  • — Payment is considered full once money is posted to an order. Credit card payments are immediate. Wire transfer payments require at least 5 business days. Check payments require at least 10 business days.
  • — The visa application process can take weeks or even months, depending on the countries involved and time of year, so you should consider registering and paying as early as possible.

Cancellation policy
