Trey Cowan is a Senior Industry Analyst for S&P Global Platts Analytics with over 20 years of experience specializing in equity analysis, forecasting and energy consulting. He provides weekly commentary and analysis on US drilling activities through the firm’s various publications, such as RADAR and The Land Rig Newsletter. Cowan is a Texas licensed CPA and holds an MBA in Finance from Vanderbilt University.


Andrew Cooper

Quantitative analyst
S&P Global Platts

Andrew Cooper is a quantitative analyst at S&P Global Platts, currently working with the Supply Team on developing analytics from different types of drilling, completions, and production data. Andrew holds a B.S.E in Geophysical Engineering with a specialization in Applied Mathematics from Colorado School of Mines. Prior to working at Platts, Andrew worked at Schlumberger Ltd in Houston as a geophysicist, where he specialized in subsurface characterization and reservoir development.
